Co-constructive environments create learning opportunities for children. The learning strategy of co-construction is an extension of the philosophy of constructivism that maintains interpretation is required to â€Å"make meaning† of the world (Schwandt, as cited in MacNaughton Williams, 2009). The early childhood setting often bases their program on the developmental play curriculum as this relates to Piaget’s theory of children’s cognition. This approach is about the child constructing their own knowledge of the environment through interactions with others. Little assistance is required besides the educator providing a well-planned environment. Constructivism is a developmental theory developed by Piaget and social constructivism was developed by Vygotsky (MacNaughton Williams, 2009). The main difference between the two strategies is that Piaget reasoned that children learn in isolation during their interaction with the physical world and Vygotsky emphasised the social and cultural basis of children’s learning. Vygotsky’s social constructivist philosophy forms the basis of the teaching strategy of co-construction (MacNaughton Williams, 2009). ‘Co-construction’ denotes the engagement of educators and children with each other, as they are mutually involved in this co-construction of meaning (Jordan, 2004). There are private organizations that protest against the government about how smoking can kill people and how dangerous it is as it could harm the young generation. A strong brand offers many advantages for marketers including: Brands provide multiple sensory stimuli to enhance customer recognition. Strong brands can lead to financial advantages through the concept of Brand Equity in which the brand itself becomes valuable. Such gains can be realized through the out-right sale of a brand or through licensing arrangements. For example, Company A may have a well-recognized brand (Brand X) within a market but for some reason they are looking to concentrate their efforts in other markets. Company B is looking to enter the same market as Brand X. If circumstances are right Company A could sell to Company B the rights to use the Brand X name without selling any other part of the company. That is, Company A simply sells the legal rights to the Brand X name but retains all other parts of Brand X, such as the production facilities and employees. In cases of well developed brands such a transaction may carry a very large price tag. Thus, through strong branding efforts Company A achieves a large financial gain by simply signing over the rights to the name. But why would Company B seek to purchase a brand for such a high price tag? Answers: 1.It has been clearly affirmed that for determining whether a person would be considered as an employee or an independent contractor at law, primarily it requires the applicability of the common law test. The Common law test for determining whether an association was one of the independent Contractor or the employment was defined as the multi factor test (CPA Australia, 2017). This includes recognizing and evaluating a number of features of the association to determine where the stability prevails (Australian Government, 2017). So, there have been certain features which the tribunals have considered for determination such as: Basis Employee Independent Contractor Contract An employee under employment law has a contract of service.
